Postdoctoral training
Several postdoctoral fellowships are available that focus on the proteomics and functional genomics of cytochrome P450s. These range from mechanistic studies on highly purified P450 systems (background in chemistry or biochemistry preferred), the function and high-throughput screening of cytochrome P450s in nanoscale membrane systems (background in biophysics or biochemistry preferred) and structural studies of P450 monooxygenases (background in physics or chemistry preferred).
Graduate Student training
Graduate student training in various aspects of plant biochemistry and functional genomics is available through the Departments of Cell & Structural Biology, Biochemistry and Plant Biology and the Interdisciplinary Training Programs in Physiological and Molecular Plant Biology and in Molecular and Cell Biology. For students with particular interests, contacts should also be established with relevant faculty on this project.
Undergraduate training
Undergraduate Honor's training in molecular genetics, biochemistry and functional genomics is available for majors in Biology, Honors Biology, Cell & Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Plant Biology and Crop Sciences.
